Know exactly how many days you spent in each country
Residence Tracker marks your country automatically and watches the limits: Schengen 90/180, visa-free rules, visas and permits, tax-residency thresholds.
Tracking, full history and photo import are free
A day tracker is useless on install day. This one is not
Most trackers only start paying off months later, once history accumulates. Residence Tracker rebuilds your past trips in about a minute from the date and geotag of your own photos. Countries are resolved offline, and the photos never leave your phone.
We count days the way the border counts them
The details that make most counters disagree with reality:
A border-crossing day counts for both countries
That is how nearly every immigration service treats it. Inside the Schengen area such a day is counted once, not twice.
Tax residency is a status, not a violation
183 days in a country where you hold a permit is not an overstay. We show it as a separate informational card instead of a red alarm.
Rules resolve by priority
Citizenship and permits outrank a visa, a visa outranks the default table, and you can set your own rule for any country.
The counting model is stated out loud
We count any part of a day. Tax authorities often count presence at midnight, so entry and exit days can differ โ and we say so.
Import from Photos
We read only the date and the geotag. You see the result before anything is saved, split honestly into days confirmed by a photo and days filled in between them.
Counts by itself
Your country is recorded in the background and on every launch, so the counter is right even if you have not opened the app in a week.
Rules that actually apply
Rolling 90/180 windows, per-entry allowances, calendar and tax years, the US substantial presence test, the Irish 280-days-over-two-years test.
Visas and permits
A visaโs validity and its allowed stay are different things. A Schengen residence permit drops that country out of the zone limit while the rest of the zone stays counted.
Forecast, not just a counter
How long you may still stay in one go, when days free up again, and the first date you would break a rule if nothing changes.
